About the Designer
Danish designer Hans J. Wegner was considered one of the most prolific and creative furniture designers of the mid-century era. He was often touted as "master of the chair" having designed over 500 different chairs during his life. Wegner most notable designs include the CH445 Wing Chair and Wishbone Chair. He strived to bring the —soul' of each piece to its exterior where its simplicity and function are visible.
